Patricia Hassey (allard) is extremely proud to present an Icon like no other that has come through her way in 20 years..pilgrim cross's, silver,the painting, the added double sided extremely RARE..RARE..RARE...(THIS Is not for the weak at heart) and the owner will remain private til sale is complete..as this is somewhat a pretty well known person..and due to that, and the intensity of the Icon..we have decided that this will remain a private sale..between the party's..and Patricia Hassey (allard) will be the primary broker..on this peice, due to her integrity on many peice's such as this in the past..Please read..the information..any q's and a's will be answered promptly..)

The front of the icon is the arisen Christ, He is holding a Crusaders flag (white flag with  red cross) He is standing on a closed coffin.  In the forefront  there are two Roman solders and two Turkish solders, one Turk seems to be dead and the other defiant.  On the left side behind Roman solder is a city (either Jerusalem or Constantinople)there is  writing on each corner of the top of icon. also on the top corners are pilgrims crosses.  bottom front each corner are pilgrims tokens.



Back of icon is covered in sheet of silver. applied to this are four round Byzantine medallions interspersed with pilgrim crosses and pilgrim tokens.  in the center of the back is a large cross made of twisted silver containing medieval brocade.  in each corner there are smaller twisted wire crosses containing fabric with either gold or silver threads.  The style of the back with the large center and small crosses is a Crusaders cross...edges of the icon are covered with silver with applied twisted crisscrossed silver wires.  top of the icon has four pilgrim  crosses with the silver Byzantine eagle in the center,  this is hung from silver chains.  has been a family piece for many many generations
